This. OR..e join KESNE and Naomi Cohen on November 15 for a lively, active workshop celebrating music thats been around for more than 30 seconds. Jewish Music to Dance and Sing During this workshop we will learn to dance and sing Israeli and Yiddish folk dances and songs. We will also learn some of the history and significance of these Jewish art forms. Participants will learn different styles of Israeli and Yiddish folk dancing, covering various religious and ethnic aspects of Judaism. Dances will range from very simple to much more complex footwork. The songs will be in both Hebrew and Yiddish. These songs include those done on Shabbat, the Sabbath, as well as arrangements of other liturgical and secular songs that are well known in the Jewish religion. kesne.org/events/naomi-cohen/
