This T-Shirt is HORRIBLE when you think about it....Breathe Easy-Dont Break the Law is implying that the police can deliver capital punishment whenever they believe you are breaking the law. In other words, If you break the law, you no longer will be able breathe. Whatever happened to innocent till proven guilty? Are we sinking that low that the police are becoming Judge Dredge type characters where they are now police, judge, and jury rolled up in one person? Surely we can find some other slogan to support the rough jobs that police have without suggesting I am so glad my officer will kill you at will. I think most of us agree that we like rule of law...I certainly do not liked to be robbed or have someone attempt to kill me, so having enforcement that prevents crimes against each other is definitely something most people want. Im sure most believe that officers should be armed to protect people and themselves, but brutality is another matter. The video of Eric Garners death indicates that the police officer was not in imminent danger and no one else was in imminent danger. There was absolutely no justification for killing him. The notion that Eric was a big guy and thus there is merit in preemptively killing him makes no sense either....Preemptively attacking someone is not a defense when no attack is underway, there was no certainty that Eric Garner was about to attack the police officer, and the police officer was clearly the aggressor. High pitched complaining about being harassed by a police officer is not an act of aggression, it is whining. These T-shirts which are supposed to show solidarity with the police are offensive. Support your police...police are people too...and so forth...thats one thing. Beathe Easy...thats sick when you consider the context these T-shirts are placed in. teespring/breathe_easy?var=WCDL
