This Week at the Burning Bush The Burning Bush Gallery is proud to announce our latest show: The Awakenings Project. This show features several works by Mental Illness Survivors. Gallery hours are Sundays, 10 to 12:30, Wednesdays 5:30 to 7pm, Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm, or by appointment, 708-705-8669. Join us for the Open Mic Nite, Friday, Sept 27th starting at 7pm. We will also be hosting a FUNdraiser and Closing Reception on Sunday, Oct 6th from 1 to 3pm. Inner Christianity: The Burning Bush will delve into the contemplative and introspective traditions of Christianity. Through discussion and practicing some important meditation techniques, such as Retrospection, Breath Control and Visualization, we will delve into the more reflective approaches in our faith. Sunday, Sept 22nd at 1pm. Yoga, Wednesdays, 7 to 8pm at the Gallery, $7 Upcoming Events Join us for the Open Mic Nite, Friday, Sept 27th. It will be a great evening of music, poetry, refreshments and a play starting at 7pm. Also consider A Journey on the Underground Railroad An evening of music, walk in the woods and other activities to give you a flavor of what it was like to follow the escape route on which numerous slaves traveled to freedom. Friday, Sept 27th, Saturday, Sept 28th, 6:30 and 7:30pm on the grounds of the Graue Mill & Museum in Oak Brook.
