This Young Man came to me told me he needs advice from me I simply asked him what his worries are,,, He told me his mum wants him to be a Doctor and dad wants him to be an Engineer and that he wants to fill jamb form I looked at him and asked him.. what do you want to be that you will be proud of in the next 10 years and I looked at him to my greatest surprise he told me he wants to be a Journalist that he likes news and sports well I told him frankly u have no say even if you had rather be a doc or engineer your parents would never allow you to be a journalist so he said that is what he has passion for and I smiled and told him brother for now obey them..... but PLS PLS PARENTS STOP TELLING YOUR CHILDREN WHAT COURSE TO STUDY IN THE UNIVERSITY not because it worked for your friend it might not work for your child.. not because you pay the academic bills... but give him the support he needs many parents might frown and kick against this but that is the simple truth allow the passion to drive this kids most people end up studying or becoming product of what they never wished because in one way or the other our parents where instrumental to it but the truth be told parents are the reason why they have 90% of unemployable graduates in Nigeria.
