This a readable copy. Dear friends, I am so sad to let all those who loved my little princess, Shelby, that she went to heaven on Saturday, 2nd. She was 13 1/2 years old. Her gift was winning the hearts and comforting those she met. Shelby had muscle loss in her back and hind legs, a tumor on her heart that was pushing against her trachea and arthritis throughout her body. She was deaf and her eye sight was failing. It was a difficult decision, but she was in pain and not able to fully enjoy life as she knew it. Thank you Tony for such a tender memorial to her on Facebook, Shelby had much love for you. Thank you Roxie and John for making the arrangements and helping me through this. We were all with her when my little princess peacefully fell asleep in my arms. Thanks also to the kind and sensitive staff at North Bend Animal Clinic for their gentleness toward Shelby. And thanks to my dear and special friends for your prayers. It was the right decision. “Frolic with your cousin Hudson, Princess.”
