This afternoon, Blaine and I were invited to a BBQ the VA Hospital was having. Nice to have something for dinner other than hospital cafeteria food. It was a great day to be outside as the temperature got to be a lovely 57 degrees. We also got to spend some time with Jhn Flanagan. John has also suffered a traumatic brain injury and he and Blaine have become great friends. They both were in the Army and both played football and baseball in high school so they have lots in common. I have a feeling these two will remain friends for life as they seem to be good for each others recovery.
