This afternoon I watched Lawrence Welk on channel 8. Mainly because nothing else was on. Im so glad I did. It was l968 and Mr. Welks 65th birthday. What a simple and nice time to have lived. It did not take much to entertain us back then. Has anyone but me noticed how different men and women looked then? I never heard the word diet back then and yet such pretty legs and such nice looking men. What happened? Nobody had a trainer, or ran 2 miles every morning. Im talking about looks not health. Has anyone but me noticed the difference.
