This afternoon Jess Mollison, Fr. Sebastians cat(Pepa), and I - TopicsExpress

This afternoon Jess Mollison, Fr. Sebastians cat(Pepa), and I arrived to Minneapolis. Fr. Sebastian met us at the airport and took us out to lunch. He will have Pepa the Peruvian cat in his rectory at Arcadia. I will leave early tomorrow morning to go on a silent retreat for one week in Pennsylvania. During that time I will not be on the internet or be able to answer any emails.. Once back to the Diocese of La Crosse on October 26, I will have Masses for five weekends in different parishes. Most of free time will be spent visiting family, parishes, and working to raise funds for Casa Hogar. If any of you would like to come to one of the Masses I would very much appreciate seeing you again as time is always short. All Mass times can be found at: dioceseoflacrosse/parishes/ On Saturday and Sunday, October 25-26 weekend Masses at St. Patrick Parish in Onalaska. Sat. Mass 5:15 pm Sun. 7:00 am, 8:45 am, 10:30 am On Saturday and Sunday, November 2-3 I will be at St. Anne Parish in Wausau On Saturday and Sunday, November 9-10 weekend Masses at St. Anne Parish in Wausau On Saturday and Sunday, November 16-17 weekend Masses at St. Matthew Parish in Wausau On Saturday and Sunday, November 23-24 I will be in Stevens Point. More information later I have never been away from an parish assignment for more than two weeks. My heart is divided. I love coming home to Sparta to see family and friends and at the same time will miss the children and the teachers of Casa. All the children are praying that we receive the help of many people during this month in the Dilocese. This is also a wonderful opportunity to share with the people of the Diocese stories from the missions. I look forward to meeting many of you at in the Diocese and at the Masses! Fr. Joe The photos below are of some of the children who were asking us what these strange things were that we did to the pumpkins. In Peru they eat--not carve them. They thought this is a very interesting but different custom. The other photo is a beautiful thank you the families wrote to our benefactors thanking them for their help. You can try out your Spanish.
