This afternoon, my granddaughters other grandmother, Carol, passed away after a long and arduous illness. I didnt know Carol well, we lived quite far apart, but I do know how meaningful she was in my granddaughters life and I know how sad Jordan will be as she says goodbye to her love. As it should be, Carols remaining three children were at her side as well as Carols longtime best friend...they worked together for many, many years and so It reminds me that we share so much of our lives with our co-workers and sometimes we even have the honor and privilege of witnessing the end of life together. Id like to say, to my co-workers, near and far, now and long ago, I love you, Im proud to know you and I am thankful you shared life with me.
