This album is exciting (therefore earning it a coveted spot on my iPod) because although it is clearly black/thrash metal and not particularly pushing genre boundaries, The Apotheosis of Death remains captivating and imaginative. Despite pushing an hour in length, there’s not a boring minute on the album. Exordium Mors takes the listener on an unrelenting journey through battle, and you’ll want to ride along with them. Lindsey Turnbullet of Violent Resonance submits to the Apotheosis of Death, have you?!
