This always makes me question how we train our young kids. Theres now countless videos of kids under 11 who keep up and even take the limelight in classes with older dancers. Im no longer surprised to see children this age killing it this much. What does confuse me is that in SA we dont think a child that age has it in him.. our kids work at that pace because we work with them at that pace. Sure they dont get it the first few times but as a teacher Im no longer going to treat your child as if they cant do it. I will always believe in the greatness they have and always challenge them to grow. We have talent alerted youngsters but they need to be handled carefully but faithfully.
