This area - the square green area in the pictures below- is NOT Quex land I have been told- It is owned privately by a family ( I will confirm this with TDC later) so they can destroy the wildlife on it if they like. The trees edging two sides seem to be left alone- perhaps these are protected?. I feel that all of this- development on this land and Quex land and all around Thanet- is bigger than all of us in Thanet and a good number of people have suggested that things are moving already to prepare for planning application submission..even though no planning permission has been submitted as yet. The only thing we can do is write to the council with our objections in January and go the meetings. If enough of us object, especially for the sake of our greenfield sites and our amazingly fertile soil and farmland in Thanet, then we might get somewhere- lets aim to try. Attached is a video of the diggers destroying the land.
