This article was in our Nantucket newspaper...scary. Its about how a bite from the Lone Star Tick can lead to fatal allergies of things that the victim was previously not allergic to. So much more research into tick-borne illnesses is needed. Many docs still turn a blind eye to the IDEA of Lyme and co-infections. I hope that they wake up and broaden their education before it becomes an epidemic. Some argue that we are already there.
