This belligerent, wreckless, petty criminal is not worth one peace - TopicsExpress

This belligerent, wreckless, petty criminal is not worth one peace officers career. This scenario is one of the many reasons that we employ peace officers to begin with. Officer Wilson was trained in the escalation of force. He is in a position of public trust. I still trust Officer Wilsons decision. How many EOF incidents in Iraq and Afghanistan resulted in a motorist being wounded or killed even though they did not mean to kill American Soldiers. The soldiers that followed the EOF procedures were protected by the Status Of Forces Agreements and the ROE as well as Tactical Directives. If not there would a be a lot more Soldiers behind bars for killing motorists that ran through SNAP TCPs or otherwise failed to yeild to warning signs. Those soldiers deserved every ounce of protection afforded them through SOFA/ ROE and Tactical Directives. Officer Wilson should also be afforded similar protection. I am glad that he is aqcuited and sad that his law enforcement career is likely at an end.
