This book review is from 2009, but the God-view is still brand-new. Does it resonate with you? Despite Michaelsons cogent arguments for pantheism (as would be Thoreau, possibly Allen Ginsberg, and others he quotes), I remain staunchly panentheistic-- God is in the object; God is not the object. God inspires us, for example, to use our free will to take the wood and fashion a table on which to study Torah, rather than use that same wood to make a weapon to kill our fellow human beings, but God is not the wood itself. It is a subtle, but telling, difference, and I have lived my life by it.
