This breaks my heart. Im happy LA moved in the direction of banning plastic bags, but there is so much more we can do. It hurts to see so much rubbish on our beaches and in our oceans. Truth is, when I travel to other beautiful beaches around the world, it isnt much better. Trash is washed up on these beautiful pristine shores, littering an otherwise would be picture-perfect postcard setting. I am mindful of the trash I produce and where and how I discard, are you? Can we all do more? Absolutely. But it starts at home. Recycle, reuse, buy and consume consciously. We are all sharing this planet and affected by what happens at home and what happens on the other side of the world. If that isnt becoming more and more obvious, I dont know what is...lets take care of each other and this planet we call home.
