This building was named after S. M. Alexander of Roe Park House. A number of architectural sources note that it was built in 1872, whilst Mullin’s book on Limavady and the Roe Valley notes the completion date as slightly earlier – 1865. A campaign by local people ensured that when the decision was made to demolish the original building, the façade remained intact. The pages of the petition which were signed by local residents are now held by Limavady Museum. The original façade is made of sandstone and has fine detailing. It is three bays wide and the window which is now on the left hand side of the façade was originally a doorway. A notable feature of the building is the two faced clock which displays the name of the original building. A dwelling used to sit to the left of the building. This is now gone and a road has been created leading up to the Fold.
