This case is a strong example of how needed it is to learn about the Law - and use it or lose it - because what you dont know, concerning established power - Will be used against you. I can also see that cases such as this show that you need to become nationalistic against the brainwash of Americans Government which continues to try to spread out. Trinidad is full of Sell Outs in every sector and field from the looks of it. If we can utilize our talents to push these bits of wisdom, it is a win win for us artists - especially in new technology art such as animation and film, which is still now taking off in T&T. We can build a wonderful foundation, rather than the Hollywood copycat one we seem to be chasing. Abuse of power is something our children need to understand - by way of Business, Law and human rights. I dont understand Kims story completely yet - but it does seem to blur the line between the good of copyright law and the good of piracy which can be seen as a law by some who realize that big corps are squeezing deserving people dry. Frank Zappa spoke about utilizing piracy as a means of real business - and all this comes together by being independent with your business. If there are pirate cds, they should be you making your own pirate versions and putting it out there - as Frank said I believe. That way, you gain n its a win win. The battle wages on. And the money continues to get passed.
