This clip is a good reminder of how a police officer’s life can change in a fraction of a second. Most police officers just want to go home safe to their families each day. When confronted by a life and death situation, they just want to bring that situation to a safe conclusion for all parties involved. Far to often the tempo of the situation is controlled by the suspect as it was in this case. People are quick to judge a police officers actions, but they forget that the suspects actions often dictate the results. Never give up.... Florida Police Officer of the Year. vimeo/99253496
