This clip is so fitting of the anger that wells within me right now as I sit and watch the consequences of our lack of action and pacifism toward the steady and undeniable deconstruction of our nation under the disguise of equality and tolerance. The sad fact is, life isnt fair, we are born into circumstances beyond our control and with our own set of unique challenges and gifts. Since the beginning of history the battle between good and evil and the struggle of class has been recorded. No amount of legislation or social programs can end inequality or discrimination. It would be great if it could but like an intoxicating drug, legislating laws and establishing programs to help the disenfranchised make us feel better although they often carry a heavy consequence that is delayed and therefore removed from its true cause. The truth is most Americans promoting these items are often doing so to be seen as more socially relevant and philanthropic at their dinner parties and finger wag at others on social media instead of actually realizing how marginal the huge accomplishment they made was to those affected. So many people today in America have never witnessed a beheading, gang rape or stoning of an innocent simply for violating a religious law they don’t even believe in. So how then can they even participate in a conversation about middle east policy. No religion is responsible for what is happening right now. This is a matter of evil men perverting a religious and social conflict for personal gain and retribution. Evil is real and it lays and waits. It doesnt care about your laws, your pursuit of equality or peace. It comes in the night when you least expect it. We have marginalized national defense, weakened our economy through irresponsible fiscal policy all in the name of avoiding consequences and vilified our veterans after serving in something we were totally unprepared for. Have we really become so nieve that we believe everything the news says? Instead of regurgitating to me the latest slogan or statistic, fact check something. Do some research and take a stand instead of looking at what is politically acceptable to the uninformed masses. Challenge the false reality that has infected our country. In a time that being different is trendy why are we all striving to be accepted by everyone? If evil should come let it be on my watch so my children will not have to know the burden of war -unknown
