This complaint against 2-10 Home Warranty Company is for the - TopicsExpress

This complaint against 2-10 Home Warranty Company is for the following reasons: failure to enlist reliable sub-contractors to perform maintenance repairs in a timely manner; failure of 2-10 warranty employers to follow-up and monitor services provided; and failure of the company to provide hassle-free services promised under the contracted warranty. My water heater is still out service order# 4448969. If I had known this about the 2-10 service, I would have had the repairs and sued 2-10 for the premiums I have paid over the last 8 years. Judgment or not others would know about the sub-standard service provided. It takes more than phone calls and then to think they have done their job. Follow-up is part of the job and regardless of the contract with these sub-standard contractors; 2-10 is not free of responsibility. My recommendation: 2-10 Warranty Company is not efficient in selecting reliable, professional sub-contractors to do the work paid for, monitoring the progress of these contractors, and providing timely service based on the need of the homeowner. Currently I am in Kuwait and my family has no capability of taking a shower. I will post this on face book, take it to the media in hopes of this treatment of customers gets fixed. I am disgusted with the level of service as a Veteran and a citizen of the US. I will pass this on to the masses. Where is the quality of service or the concern in doing business the right way? Another issue is This company has become one of the many businesses trying to scam consumers in the middle of a recession. For many years their home warranty standard option covered nearly everything. When its time to renew your warranty, their customer service reps hound you with repeated calls trying to get you to renew. They tell you that EVERYTHING IS STILL THE SAME. Without notifying customers, in 2009, 2-10 made HUGE changes to their standard warranty. Their standard warranty now covers small parts of an appliance, and they now added a Supreme Option, which costs more money, to cover other parts of the same appliance. So now, you appliance will not be fully covered. Only parts of your applicance will be covered under one plan, and other parts will be covered under another plan, which costs more!! You will not find this out until you file a claim (they still wont tell you about the change), send out a contractor to collect your 50 dollar deductible, and then tell you the part is not covered under the plan, and that the only way the part is covered is under some new plan which costs MORE!!! Enough of this please time to make a change for the better.
