This could be the most important thing that you see me post! Its an epidemic this year, and these things are as lethal as a venomous snake in the wrong scenerio! Please not only read it, but share it! Make sure we get the word out about these tics and the disease they carry! Its summer! Time for camping, hiking and play outside. Do not let those pesky annoying tick stop. Heres how with a simple home solution! Repellent for your pet: For animals, add 1 cup of water in a spray bottle, followed by 2 cups of white distilled vinegar. Ticks hate the smell and taste of vinegar, and will be easily repelled by that ingredient alone. Then add two vegetable oil or almond oil, both of which contain sulfur (another tick natural repellent) spoonfuls. To make a repellent which will also deter fleas, mix a few tablespoons of lemon juice, citrus oil, or peppermint oil, anything that will repel ticks and fleas while creating a well-scented repellent . Spray on dry coating of the animal, stay away from sensitive areas, including the eyes, nose, mouth and genitals. On the outside for an extended period, this spray solution two to three times per day. For you and your family: In a spray bottle, mix 2 cups of white vinegar and 1 cup water. To make a scented solution if you do not feel as bitter vinegar all day, add 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Eucalyptus oil is a calm, soothing scent that also works as an insect repellent, while oils of peppermint and citrus crisp off a strong odor that also repels ticks. After mixing the solution, spray on clothes, skin and hair before going out.
