This country is 100% self-sufficient in milk. But for how much longer? Do we really want to import milk from other countries with less stringent welfare standards than us because the big supermarkets have forced our dairy farmers out of business? Have a think about it. No cows in the countryside also means a radically different look than we have now - more forest and scrub, less rolling fields. Rant over.
