This den was once a carport. The brick walls remained so it still looked like a carport... Barbara wanted to cozy up the room so she had the popcorn removed from the ceiling, had new tile flooring installed and called me out to paint the brick. She wasnt really happy with that idea though and she didnt want to do sheetrock. So we called Kevin Gosnell out and had him mud over the brick walls. Giving them the appearance of sheetrock. He did a great job! He had to leave one row of bricks along the top because they protruded out from the wall but we loved the way it turned out. The first 2 photos show the brick walls before anything was done. The next photos show the walls after they were mudded and textured. We sanded, caulked, primed and painted the ceiling and the walls. The room finally looks more warm and cozy not like a walled in carport :*
