This does a great job putting into words what I came to whilst exploring WHAT I believed and WHY I believed it. It took well over a year for me to sort through all that I was taught to believe. There is no more correct /more right /more knowledgable religion. But there IS overwhelming evidence that religion is purely a human construct. I understand why people want religion. Why they use it. But the tool is used as a weapon. The most truthful thing I have determined is that I dont know. No one KNOWS what The Truth is regarding a god and a dogma. Or a lack thereof. But everyone pretends they know. No one seems to be honest enough to state confidently, I DONT KNOW. BUT I AM CHOOSING TO BELIEVE __________. And instead they judge, ostracize, hate, malign, threaten, and even kill for their beliefs. I do see some evidence for intelligent design. I do not think science AKA human knowledge and understanding can explain everything. I do know there are spiritual events, senses, abilities among humans, though I am open to finding out that they can be scientifically explained eventually. All I really know is that everything is connected, WE are all connected. And we should act accordingly.
