This evening and tomorrow mark the 100th Anniversary of my favorite moment in human history, The Christmas Truce of 1914. For those of you unfamiliar, soldiers on both sides of the Western Front during WWI temporarily ceased fighting, sometimes against orders, and came together between their trenches to celebrate the birth of Christ. The marvel of this event, held during a conflict that changed the very nature of both warfare and humanity, is without compare in my opinion. Since that day, no truce of like magnitude has ever been celebrated. I urge you to take a moment with your families this Christmas to reflect on the universal spirit of these men who briefly stopped a world war with their humanity, and to always keep in your hearts the true meaning of Christmas; Peace On Earth, Goodwill To All Men. https://youtube/watch?v=NWF2JBb1bvM
