This evening our newest teacher, Ms. Christine, started a fire in the fire pit in the Tadpole yard! The children were eager to gather sticks and leaves for the fire, and watched with anticipation as she built it and lit it! She is a talented Firekeeper! Frogs joined the Tadpoles later, once the fire was growing. Children are safe by standing a step back from the fence around the fire and keeping hands in the air or to their sides. The children love watching the flames dance and giving Ms. Christine sticks to contribute. We enjoyed our first cozy little fire of the season! - Diana (Acting Director of School Family)
