This evening, the House voted to hold former IRS department head Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress. As I said on the House floor earlier, We’re the People’s House. It’s our job to get to the bottom of the scandals that are troubling the American people so we can regain the trust of the American people. It’s healthy to be skeptical of your government – but when you don’t believe a word that comes out of the mouth of the Administration, there’s a real problem.
