This forum or group has nothing whatsoever to do with football or any kind of rivalry. It is about giving a home to the 45% of disheartened Yes voters and those disaffected No voters who formed part of the 55%. We have already witnessed the speed with which Westminster has reneged on its pledges of more powers. We have also witnessed the shameful and degrading scenes on the streets of Glasgow by the victors in this campaign seeking revenge. This is a time to gather together those of us who remain convinced that Scotland should be free to run its own affairs and to position ourselves to aid that process when the time comes. it is my firm belief that we should work together to rid Scotland of the Scottish Labour Party and either replace it with a credible alternative that shares our common goal or galvanise support for the current Scottish Government to insure it is able to provide another opportunity with the appropriate mandate. It is therefor hoped that those wishing to join this forum will leave the football rivalry where it belongs and continue to focus our efforts as we did so well during the campaign. Those in Westminster who orchestrated the No Campaign and their lackeys in Scotland will assert that independence is off the agenda for a generation. Had they honoured their pledges and delivered a stronger Scottish Parliament with much stronger powers then that might well be the case. However, it is apparent that the only thing that will be increasing is the Honours List and new faces in the House of Lords. Glasgow has historically been the heartland of Scottish Labour and the working class areas throughout Scotland were the recruiting grounds for members and votes. After the behavior of Scottish Labour and their betrayal of that support they are on the verge of collapse in Scotland. We must insure that The Scottish Parliament is in a position with a mandate to call for another referendum in 2016. You do not need to be part of that campaign to join this page but it is better that we remain in harmony and be respectful of others.
