This gets pretty swingin....The notion of what swinging is (today I heard it described as sort of a heated emotional expression) has been distorted by the type of folks who dont want any music to be an example of exceptionalism or to grant exclusivity to a specific music........Swingin is a sympathetic empathy and union with a specific groove The mother groove of American jazz.......The more PC you get with your definition the less swingin you will be.
