WE HAVE AN IMMEDIATE VACANCY FOR THE FOLLOWING:- SALES ENGINEER (CLEAN FUEL & LUBRICANT SOLUTIONS) Our client in Longmeadow is looking for a Sales Engineer to promote and develop business in the Clean Fuel & Lubricant Solutions area of operation by servicing existing and new clients in the Mining(Consulting/Project Companies included) and Petrochemical industry. Design and sell customised filtration systems, and grow sales in Sub Saharan Africa. Key performance areas: • Customer focused • Attainment of an individual turnover target established mutually between the incumbent and his manager • Increase the Clients market share • Identify key accounts and expand business in line with business unit strategy Duties and responsibilities: • Increase the company’s market share in Clean Fuel and Lube solutions through the generation of new business opportunities • Identify key accounts and expand business to these customers • Design and implement effective filtration systems for bulk fuel and lube storage depots by assessing the customer’s needs and deriving solutions for these needs • Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents/quotations for customer or project proposals • Presentation of solutions to clients • Follow up and closure of all business opportunities • Ensure that specific, predetermined sales objectives are met on a monthly basis • Maintenance of business opportunity recording and filing systems • Develop alternatives through modifications and improvements on both existing and new sites • Keeping abreast with company product developments and their areas of opportunity Job requirements • Matric • Relevant degree/diploma (mechanical/chemical engineering) • 3-6 years of Sales/ experience in a similar role (projects/ petrochemical environment) • Good understanding of fluids and fluid dynamics • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • The ability and desire to sell • High degree of self-motivation, drive and persistence with the ability to work independently • Ability to work in a team • 30% -40% travel including stay over’s • Technical skills and problem solving ability Salary is R24 309.25 negotiable depending on experience Car allowance, cell allowance, preferably an EE candidate
