This group is all about disciplining ourselves to improve mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Stop acting like a kid and take responsibility for your actions! Actually care about yourself & the people around you. Show kindness & generosity towards others. Learn empathy! Understand that opinions are neither right nor wrong, so dont get so offended all the time! Be aware of your own speech patterns, and try to sound intelligent, even if you have to fake it. Strive to be a better person! Commit to your friends, family, and yourself. Live by these simple guidelines, and also, memorize the steps below to improve your quality of life. Step 1: Improve your diet - Do not consume sugar. This means any product that contains ingredients: sugar, dextrose, corn syrup, molasses, aspartame, sucralose. - Do not consume gluten. Studies find that wheat & barley products will eventually destroy the system in your body that absorbs nutrients, and will also create autoimmune diseases. Learn about it here https://youtube/watch?v=IvUgcLQOUSA - Eat less meat, more fruits & vegetables. Natural sugars are okay when eaten with real fruits, since it takes the body significantly more time to break down the sugars. Also, a recent study says that we need to be eating 7 to 10 times the daily required amount of vegetables. - Do not drink soda or juice. Soda will kill you, and juice is pretty much just flavored sugar water because all juice products are flash pasteurized, killing all enzymes, vitamins, and good bacteria & micro-organisms. - Do not consume dairy products. Our bodies are not meant to drink milk, especially not flash-pasteurized milk. Cheese is also bad. If you are going to cook with oil though, grass-fed organic butter is the best choice. - Do not consume vegetable oils. All vegetable oils, even olive oils, are processed, and our bodies are not suppose to process them. Cooking with vegetable oil is especially bad. - Do not consume caffeine. People die from consuming caffeine, and the rest of us become physically addicted to it. The withdrawals are bad as well. Just dont do it. Exercise is a healthy alternative to caffeine. - Do not eat breakfast & eat a very light lunch. Let your body burn carbs from yesterday. You will find that you will have more energy & focus, and wont feel exhausted in the middle of the day like you usually do. - Take small naps! Some of the worlds greatest inventors, writers, politicians, scientists, & physicists all took naps throughout the day. 15 minutes is all you need. It will replenish your mind. - DO drink lots of water. Whenever you feel hungry, its probably because you are dehydrated, and because you eat bad foods that keep you feeling hungry. Instead, just drink tons of water all day. Step 2: Exercise every day! Doctors say 30 minutes a day, I say 1 hour of intense workout. Walking and light-weights do not count. You need to try something more extreme to sweat & make your heart race, like Zumba, or going to the gym, cycling 30+ miles, jogging 5+ miles, weight training with 20+ lbs weights. EVERY DAY & THROUGHOUT THE DAY! Do some pushups RIGHT NOW! Step 3: Dont kill your IQ. Stop reading the crap your friends share on Facebook. Stop searching Youtube for funny stupid videos. Stop laughing about internet memes. Stop watching all those TV shows & animes & reruns. Stop arguing with family & friends about petty crap. Instead, watch TED videos, watch tutorials on Youtube, learn how to do something useful, learn how to become entertained with history & nature, learn something new every day! Step 4: Play video games. I know, this sounds like something a kid would do, but it is very antikid. It stimulates eye-hand coordination, inspires creativity, helps us forget about stressful things and helps us let go of control and anxiety to feel like a kid again. TV & movies are different, because it requires no effort, no brain power, no interactivity. If you cant take the time to play a video game, then stress is controlling your life. Step 5: Do more of the hardest part of your projects. There is a certain flow about a project, and usually, we make up excuses to do anything except the most important part of the flow. Focus on the backbone of your flow. For example, a musicians struggle with flow is creating an arrangement of a song. They spend enormous amounts of time building a simple drum loop, perfecting their synth & drum sounds, and afterwards have difficulty building a song past 8 bars or 20 seconds. Instead, a musician should reverse the flow, laying out their entire arrangement first, drawing simple MIDI notes for each instrument, completing the entire song, and THEN work on choosing which synth or sampler to use for each instrument in the song, tweak the sounds, and finally mix & master the song. Therefore, reverse your flow.
