This handsome fella is ready to meet his new family... He is a seven-month-old Swiss shepherd who was poisoned at the beginning of July, which left him completely paralysed. Pressure sores developed and he was in a bad way. Soon after he arrived at Fourways, his owner elected to euthanase him, but the vets and nurses at Fourways convinced the owner to allow them to try and save him, then rehome him. Dr Jeannette Oosthuizen took him home and provided the extensive care and rehabilitation work required. Over the last couple of weeks, he has slowly regained his strength and is now back to his old, chipper self. He is ready to give a new owner years of love and companionship.
