This happened way more in DC, but just the other day I got shouted at from a car while running in Ames. Without thinking, I yelled, Come ON! (and may have also yelled an expletive...) I am just so over this. And then a friend told me that someone drove slowly by her in a car while she was riding her bike and patted her butt. So, yeah. Its not just the big city. Seriously, people. Enough. Shut up and let me just walk/run/bike down the street.
