This has always been one of my favourite Tindersticks songs. - TopicsExpress

This has always been one of my favourite Tindersticks songs. An implied tired tension lurks within that dominant Bm chord, simultaneously expectant, yet still unresolved. Tugs at you like sleep does. You resist, it keeps on tugging, insistent and monotonous. And once the violin comes in around the three minute mark it is as if heavy eyelids finally sag and dreaded sleep comes, bringing with it the nightmare of mariachi horns. (Cant see the point why they re-recorded this, tho, as they have here, because the arrangement follows the original to a tee, minus Dickon Hinchcliffes skeletal violin arpeggios, that is... The following track, A Night In, is similar. Serves only as a reminder how great the second Tindersticks record really was. The most important band of the 90s, in my book.)
