This has been a sad week! Reading the post of a long time friend - TopicsExpress

This has been a sad week! Reading the post of a long time friend saying goodnight mom I love you for the last time before she passes unexpectedly during the night. Reading of a friend who lost her husband, best friend and father of her kids and reading the post of the 16 year daughter of my dear friend Rita who passed away a year ago grieving her mother so! All of these, would give one more day to have the chance to say I love you! Yet as I grieve along with them, I find myself grieving over so many broken relationships within my own family and others. These dear ones would give anything to have their family/friends back, yet we allow, pride, bitterness and pure selfishness to corrupt our minds and destroy the people we love and should cherish! God created us to love one another because He first loved us. This didnt come with an exception to only love those who are deserving or love only those that do it my way! He said love! Love unconditionally! We dont know what tomorrow brings, I know this only too well, after spending the past two months not knowing if the one that I love most dearly on this earth and who is my best friend, hubby and wonderful father, brother, son, uncle and friend to so many, was going to be taken from me/us. God is so faithful! Not just because He saved him thus far from cancer but because He placed people in our lives to pray us through, and to love us through. I say all this because its all about loving one another!! I am so thankful that I have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit inside of me to remind me to love, love the unlovable, love those that persecute me and love unconditionally. I would not be who I am today if it was the saving grace of my Lord and Savior who granted me this kind of love. I encourage those to listen to a song written and sung by Jim Brady title dont miss the chance to say I love you. I will continue to pray for those that are grieving there loved ones, for broken relationships to mend and for those that do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and His unconditional love. I love you all and thank you so much for all your prayers!
