This has been a wonderful family weekend! Friday night we attended a lovely dinner with Lyrics and Jays families, then a service at the Temple afterward. We spent all day on Saturday at Spencers Bar Mitzvah. The religious part of the ceremony was so very touching. Afterward, at the party, there was a wonderful tribute to my son, Alan - Ians and Spencers father, who died in 2006. There was so much wonderful food, and a DJ who provided some great entertainment and lots of dancing. It was so good to see so many people we love and to make a few new friends. Tonight, Darren came over and joined Jack, Stuart and me for dinner and a nice visit. All in all, it was a terrific weekend and one that Im sure well all remember! I have some Bar Mitzvah photos to post later- just havent had the time.
