This has been an exciting day of moving!!! I wanted to take a moment to update my clients and colleagues on some upcoming changes to Intricate Icings Cake Design. While the overwhelming success and growth of my company over the past 8 years is both amazing and humbling, I have realized that expanding my business into a larger production is contrary to my original vision. Producing hundreds of cakes each year makes it difficult to give each cake the attention to detail that it deserves. Furthermore, it leaves me personally managing a business instead of being the artist I set out to be or spending time with the family that I love. I will be refocusing my business, back to its original creative and artistic goals. While this means that availability for future events will be limited. This new direction allows me to personally create each and every cake…from concept to completion. I am truly excited by this unique opportunity to concentrate my time and energy on only the highest quality of cakes and artistry. I will have a $2000 minimum in 2015 and will take no more than 20 orders per year. I will have a much smaller studio for creating amazing cakes and a shared studio space in Denver for consultations. I am looking forward to taking two months off from making cakes while my new studio is being built. :) But dont worry Ill still be here sharing lots of sugar details. I am so grateful for all the amazing support Intricate Icings has received over the last 8 years. I am blessed to be surrounded by wonderful friends and family. Thank you for continued support and understanding as I make this transition for my company and my family.
