This has been, and continues to be, the most amazing period of my life. Never in my life have I been surrounded by so many people I respect enough to literally look up to, which as many of you know is something I almost never do/feel. People that have been, and continue to be, the best mentors to me; that are patient with me through all the difficulties I give them in my journey of growth, that invest and waste their own time and efforts to see me grow and blossom, and have not given up on me despite many of the limiting thoughts and beliefs I carry. And with all of this comes a feeling of sweet debt and powerlessness, where I feel I do not yet have anything to repay their endless kindness, beyond showing them that their lessons are well-invested, which I myself do not feel is enough repayment for all that they do. I have never been so humbled in my life...and I am still in disbelief that such peerless people exist (which ironically, is a point they would disagree with me upon). It is people, exceptions, like this that give me hope in life, and humanity.
