This has nothing to do with the Governors race, but Im going on - TopicsExpress

This has nothing to do with the Governors race, but Im going on record so I can say I told you so later...maybe. News is breaking about the shooting down of a 777 passenger jet flying over Ukraine. The deed was done with a Russian BUK anti-air missile, and a Russian launcher was apparently involved. Now you can already hear the sabres rattling, and there is great glee in blaming Putin. But wait a minute. How could the Russians possibly benefit from this? They want to blame the Ukrainians? That would be like trying to frame my neighbor for a murder, then shooting the victim with MY REGISTERED AMMO and leaving my OWN GUN at the scene. Im not saying Putin is a choir boy, but come on now. Hes former KGB. He could do better than that. So ask yourself--as it is done in law--Qui bono? Who benefits? Well not the Russians, clearly. But there is a history of using conflict to cover government induced financial collapse. Just yesterday a friend of mine was discussing the history of nations falling by first devaluing their currency, then experiencing hyperinflation and ultimately war. Obama tried to convince people to go to a little dustup in Syria but couldnt seem to get that one energized. So too Ukraine separatism. But now? Qui Bono? The Europeans would love to have bargaining power against Putin. He controls much of their oil through pipelines across the Ukraine. And the US biggest immediate financial threat may be Putin bringing out a gold backed Ruble, and demanding that his oil be bought in that currency. The US would lose its reserve currency status overnight and we would experience huge inflation. And do we not believe our CIA or their Euro equivalent could get hands on a Russian missile and launcher? Our CIA has a history of fomenting war, their Soviet division was initially populated with Gehlenorg Nazis who came over complete with General Gehlen after WWII and there is still probably an anti Russian sentiment that lingers. Im just saying--dont be too gullible like our mainstream media who report from the safety of their front porch. I hope this is not Obama playing chicken with Putin. Because Putin will win.
