This has really been on my mind since yesterday, we were, as the entire community was invited to The Law Enforcement Memorial...I had never been and was very excited to attend, I took my son and was glad I did because I want him to see first hand that not ALL LE is bad...We say it time after time that just because a few do not go by the rules we tend to blame them all..We work with allot of LE trying to get young men off the street, and they spend their time in the community, at events, at meetings with No pay the Prosecuting Attorney that proscutes Gang Members, walks the streets with us and puts her time and effort into sowing good into the community, that action to me speaks louder than words...I say all this because Yes some of our children may be at risk with the Law, but just like I tell the guys dont commit a crime and you wont have to face the Law While we were at this Memorial, protesters across the street with Masks on so u cant see their faces were being disrespectful, loud throwing out the FBomb, etc..its not a crime to protest but if u want someone to hear or honor ur protest, do it respectfully TO B HEARD! NOT loud to be obnoxious Anywho Im glad my son was a part of it, released some balloons in honor of fallen police officers, and recoginizing leaders in the community. ..Not saying they are all Good...But just exposure to it, so he can make the decision about LE himself, not some idiot cramming All LE are pigs n bad down his throat...
