This house is located at the corner of Ave. F and Corley. Last time I was in Beaumont (2009) it was still there. There was a black family that lived there, but I never saw them. My dad said this house way made of cypress wood, but I dont know if that was right or not. Dad said it was a very well built wooden house. I often wondered about the history of this house and who the people that lived there were. I was only a kid and it was back in the 1950s. I never saw a light on or anyone coming or going. Can anyone tell me anything about the house. I dont think I remember the fence still there, but this picture has the family in it on the porch. Anyone know anything?
