This idiotic article is typical of the efforts of the ignorant and the cynical to undermine our efforts. Please locate my comment and vote it up so that others will see my response, which I hope is representative of this group:: Nice review of the same tired arguments by another twit so dedicated to shooting down the efforts of thousands of people working on the issue that they havent bothered to think of the counterarguments to their straw man premises. He is obviously not aware that a lot of the efforts to pass the amendment are evolving, and the strategies are converging and becoming more coherent. Central among these is the move to make support for a constitutional amendment a campaign issue.This may be one issue politics, but it is the only issue upon which 80% of Americans agree. If we can get the other 20% to understand the issues, we can easily get 90% support from the public. This strategy is non-partisan. That is why Lessig is supporting people across the political spectrum. We need conservative support (duh!) but that does not mean we need the support of any Republican who refuses to pledge to amend (or any such Democrat, for that matter). By making this issue a litmus test for our votes across the country, we can give people a reason to vote again.
