This is Crowley (and Riley) if anyone remembers him from a month - TopicsExpress

This is Crowley (and Riley) if anyone remembers him from a month ago when I asked for advice about his Seperation anxiety and destructive behaviour. I will just add that apart from the last couple of weeks he has got clingy again, and howls in his crate a lot more, as we have all been home from school, uni and work for the Christmas break. Were getting him back on the right track now as we have either started back or starting back tomorrow. Before Christmas things were getting a lot lot better. He goes in his crate and cries for a few minutes, and then goes quiet. he will howl for about 15 minutes after about 30 minutes, and then settle again, and cry again a while later (hes never lever for longer than 2.5 hours maximum). He doesnt cry as much when he is out of his crate either and isnt so in your face and always under your feet. Our other dog is happier as well. Riley is a really good and well behaved dog, and he always cowered into his bed when you got home because of the destruction and the fear that he was going to get into trouble (which led us to doubt if it was Crowley as he showed no remorse or guilt. Well since he has gone in the crate there has been no destruction at all. Riley is a LOT happier and he is back to his usual happy, puppy self. The help that Lisa gave us has worked a miracle. I know we have a LONG road against us, but things are finally looking up :D Both dogs have improved and they have a better relationship with each other. They are happier and more calmer than they have been since we brought Crowley home in January 2014. It is Rileys 2nd birthday on Monday 12th January and we have planned a little trip to the beach for him as Crowley now leaved your side during walks/runs in the park, and therefore we know they will love the beach because they can BOTH finally enjoy it :D x
