This is Day 1 for me for the 5 day challenge and while I am excited to be pART of this cyber-show, I am not certain I am doing it right...but here goes and if its being posted in the wrong place or I need to wait for Mac to complete his 5 days, please advise. Mac and I have hung together and shared some pretty heady conversations on pushing boundaries in photography. Artists are always pushing boundaries and presenting new perspectives...and the camera is a mighty powerful and versatile tool. Autumn Reflection, image #1 was taken with film as was image #2, Sedona Cellophane. By selectively focusing on the orange color in the distance I blew out the yellow-green of the foreground. Image #3 Indian Summer, was taken at the Cold Spring Harbor pond with Northport artist Ward Hooper during one of our collaborative outings in preparation for our August 2015 exhibition at the Art League of Long Island entitled The Brush/Lens Project. He paints with a brush and I paint with my camera and in the case of the third image I also used Topaz software and Photoshop CS 6 to create the reality I desired.The digital darkroom offers boundless possibilities for data we collect in the field. During this 5 day challenge I will share a variety of images from my past and present....as for the future images...time will tell but some things cant be rushed
