This is Dori, aka squirrel. Dori was found on the interstate! Her head was literally inches from all the fast moving vehicles including the semis. her rescue was very dramatic to her rescuer as squinting eyes and lots of praying that these vehicles didnt sway. Once traffic passed, her rescuer ran out, grabbed her and threw her in the back of her SUV! The pix on the left is right after her rescue. She was in complete shock and had no idea of what was happening. She went to the vet to be checked out. Aside from some scrapes and maybe being a little sore, she was ok. The vet firmly believes she was thrown from a vehicle. Imagine the shock of someone doing this to you. It took her a few hours to come around and we honestly believe that she does not recall what happened to her. The picture on the right is her relaxing in her foster home and safe! Her date could beach different! She is good with other dogs. Very sweet and loving to people but can be a bit taken by strangers, and just a doll. She is small, about 35-40lbs and will make a great companion and family member. Obviously not a lab and most likely a pitbull mix.
