This is Gia Carangi.... She was a top model in the 70s, and graced the covers of many magazines. Tragically, her life was cut short due to a heroin addiction. After I graduated from Seventeen Magazine, I moved on to Glamour and Mademoiselle and then, the ultimate, Cosmopolitan. I had this magazine with me during my trip to Europe in 1982 (I also picked up the British and French versions of the same year during my trip to England and France). Twenty years later, I sold it on eBay for $250.00. She still has a cult following even to this day. Gia had a sad life but is still remembered by many.
