This is Griffin. He was so emaciated that he looked more like a chicken than a dog. Whether his condition was the result of illness or abuse, there was ABSOLUTELY NO VALID REASON for his previous owner to neglect what was happening to his poor body...not to mention his soul...to abandon him and leave him to die a lonely and painful death. Second Chance Rescue found him, scooped him up, gave him warmth, food, comfort, compassion, and every bit of medical care available and showed him what true love is. Sadly, it was not meant to be that Griffin recover and lead a happy and playful life, but he was blessed with a peaceful day at the beach before he decided hed fought long enough.
