This is Heath Cliff. He was sent to my vet last week and the lady told to contact me by the Wythe County Humane Society. They told her to ask me to take him because if he was FIV+ the Humane Society was going to have him put down. He showed up at the ladys home and she had been feeding him but he has a dead eye, almost no teeth, horrible fleas/lice, is elderly and has already been neutered so he was likely dumped. I am full. Beyond full. I only have yall for donations and such. I am not yet a 501c3 so I have no funding, no corporate food support and so forth. Im also only one person so it isnt exactly my favorite thing when another larger rescue cant do their job of keeping cats healthy and alive in our community so I get to face the hard fact that a cat will die if I say I cannot take him So, of course I said ok. He is still currently at the vet being treated. He is extremely friendly and loving. I hope he gets along with the other two FIV kitties here.
