This is Scarlett. 14 months ago at the age of 2, she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while playing in our yard. Once at the hospital suffered a series of cardiac arrests before it was determined she had CPVT. As a result of the first SCA, she has suffered a severe anoxic brain injury. She still continues to progress and amazes us. We are hopeful that one day soon she will walk and talk again. Scarlett tested positive for CPVT and ARVD. My husband and I tested negative for CPVT but I carry the ARVD gene. Also Scarlett has 2 older siblings that tested negative for CPVT but positive for ARVD. I was pregnant at the time of Scarletts SCA and the baby is now 10 months, he will be tested soon. Im so glad we have this group. Thanks you. Joleen Cook for organizing.
